Dan and Ashley were referred to me by Dan's younger brother Mark, a fantastic photographer out in Portland, who also happens to be a good pal of mine from college. Dan and Ashley used to live in the Near North neighborhood of Minneapolis, got engaged at Lake of the Isles, and they wanted their engagement shoot to feature both locations. We kicked everything off at the bar at The Bachelor Farmer, walked past their future wedding venue at Aria, then headed over to the lake. It was cloudy for most of the time, but we were lucky to take advantage of the sun for about 30 seconds before it set. Their fall wedding promises to be an amazing time!
